Nurturing curious minds

At Blueberry Hill Preschool, we foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in our students. Our curriculum, teaching strategies, and environment are rooted in research-based knowledge of child development, ensuring alignment with each child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical abilities. We are dedicated to nurturing warm relationships among children, teachers, and parents, building close personal connections to promote higher self-esteem, reduce anxiety, and increase comfort and engagement.

What we offer

Adventurous Learners

Focus on problem-solving, science exploration, and gross motor skill development.

Daily learning & classroom routine

Children will follow a flexible daily routine with both indoor and outdoor activities based on their interests and needs. These experiences help them build fine and gross motor skills, practice problem‑solving, and develop language and sensory awareness.

Each day includes circle time, gross motor play, fine motor activities, and small‑group learning. Children choose from a variety of materials that encourage exploration and active engagement. Circle time covers early learning concepts such as letters, numbers, shapes, colors, songs, stories, and the weekly or monthly theme. Weather permitting, gross motor play happens indoors or outdoors — and dancing is always part of our day. Rest time is offered from 12:30–2:30 to help children relax and recharge.

Early learning

At Blueberry Hill, we believe early childhood is the beginning of a lifelong journey. We nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence through joyful, play‑based experiences that help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Our warm, supportive environment encourages exploration, independence, and problem‑solving, while our teachers guide children in building strong communication skills and healthy relationships. By celebrating each child’s unique strengths and partnering closely with families, we help young learners develop a genuine love of learning that will carry them forward for years to come.

Supporting Children

Our staff understands that every child learns at their own pace and provides the individual attention each child deserves. Children express their ideas and feelings through creative, cultural, and hands‑on experiences. They participate in both child‑initiated and teacher‑guided activities, exploration and discovery, small‑group work, quiet time, nutritious meals, toileting routines, and outdoor play.

Educational Curriculum

We believe in a balance of child and staff-initiated activities, implementing new monthly curriculum themes on a variety of topics. Our center-based approach provides a fun and interactive way to learn through readily available centers such as library, dramatic play, arts and crafts, music, blocks, writing, table toys, sensory play, and math and science.
